That's simply ridiculous and childish. You're the one with 1600 posts in every corner of the forum boards!!! You should get out of your room with the computer and breathe some fresh air.

I've read a lot of your posts; you make some good points and then sometimes a statement that makes no sense or makes it obvious you are speaking opinion without knowledge. If you really feel the need to instigate conflict then I sympathize you. Personally, that's not why i visit the forums; it's to assess rumors, check the facts, stay realistic, and work with fellow pilots to make the best of things. Sometimes your posts are simply counter-productive to those criteria.

Reads like a response to an interview questions. Anyhow... I guess I get out for fresh air more than you as I don't spend that much time on these forums as perhaps as you do.

Look flyboy, the bottom line is that there ain't nothing you or I alone can do to remedy the situation.

Peruse some of my previous posts concerning third party union representation, and support from aviators who are part of the industry has a whole.

Third party representatives ala ALPA, IBT, or whoever, in general, truly don’t have their members’ interests at heart. However, they are sure willing to take your money in a heartbeat.

The reason for a failed in-house union or association ala Miami Air is because of the relationship amongst a number of their membership and union leaders with BSK corporate management team.

Industry support? “Sure I’ll walk your picket line, if I’m on off days… I’ll be the one in uniform and you bring the six pack.” How many times have I heard that rhetoric. Information pickets??? Now that’s made an impact on our industry… hasn’t’ it?

Tell you what flyboy8272, for true support and solidarity amongst each other??? I would like to see airline pilots from every walk of life from every US carrier, be it LCC or Legacy, be it Passenger or Cargo, be it Regional or National, along with every union and take a day off from the cockpit in support for one another. Go to Washington and stand in front of the offices of the FAA, NTSB, DOT… go to every airlines’ corporate offices, go to every airport, served by the airlines, and make a statement that they have taken enough abuse from management. Demand, yes demand better safer working conditions, and restoration of pay and benefits and most important of all the respect they deserve from management, passengers and their representatives. Attention??? You want attention? Well you’ll get it then. That’s what support is all about, not walking some picket line in Des Moines sporting some crappy union pin. Respect??? You want respect? Well that will be determined. Maybe it’s too late because of all the cutbacks taken on the advice of their counsels, and then accepted by vote of the memberships. After all flyboy... don't you think it's time that we had a voice??? the front line operators who have the facts?

Well enough of my rant… time to get some fresh air before I go strap a jet to my back this afternoon.

There's at least one "ex-Eastern 727 pilot out there" who scabbed, went on to another ALPA carrier, AND WAS VOTED BACK INTO ALPA BY MEMBERS OF THE VERY ORGANIZATION HE SCABBED AGAINST!

Continental scabs? There are none. The guys who used to be Continental scabs are all back in APLA's good graces, too.

THAT'S how much "unity" you can expect from your fellow airmen. To a man, they'll say they support you, and 95% of them will mean it at the time they're saying it. But give the other 5% a chance to move up one seat, and they'll throw you under the bus in a heartbeat. And the funny thing is, they'll be the ones hollering the loudest when it's their time to go under the wheels.

Been there. Seen it. You're not dealing with mine workers, or even steel workers. You're dealing with pilots, and pilots are, by their character, hard to unify in the manner you're suggesting. The sad part is that in a shrinking, deregulated business, they're the ones who need it the most.

The issue isn't whether you're entitled to better wages and working conditions - of course you are! The problem (at least as it appears to an outsider) is that you're in a weak bargaining position right now. Once somebody else is in your seat it gets even weaker.

You can't out-slug them, so you're gonna have to out-think them.

There's probably nothing the company would like more than to see a bunch p1ssed-off, unhappy pilots off the property. Don't give them the satisfaction!

Ummm... I had just pointed out that YOU have 1600 posts in all corners of the forums and that is your response?? I think i have like 30 or 40 posts in only forums that affect me and that i have direct knowledge in.

You're right - 'there ain't nothing you or I alone can do'; that's exactly why i'm on this thread - to support and unify! Not to offer negative attitude and belittle those who are actually fighting for what you say needs to happen.

I really don't have the desire, time, or energy to argue with you or feed ridiculous conflict; there are real issues going on in here.

I know very little about Amerijet. Whatever the pilots are up to there I wish them the best. However, Captjns is being a little pompous. His champagne and caviar business on a 737 with a 747 Avatar should explain a lot of things. Ignore what he says. The best 73 I have seen had no caviar blah, blah. He is posturing, hoping, wanting. Let him come at me!.........I look forward to it.
Punk. Amerijet pilots....stick it to the boss. Get what you need, what you deserve. Captjns, double flameout to you on your baby Boring.

Just read Baby Boring's last post. I'll bring a 24 not a six pack, and I'll do it on my days "on", unlike it, who thinks that you are only worthy of his days off. Although it says that we should all show solidarity and walk on days off. Ignore him, I say again. It is a plague, no good for our industry. BTW.... not even the ultra wealthy really like caviar. It costs a lot, that's why they eat it.
