From a good source another excess in ANC around the corner. Don't get too excited about moving up here.

Expect the ANC base to shrink with the 777 coming and expansion of HKG :(

On a positive note: NRT ramp agent says loads have been increasing this last week :)

Lots of hotel stby in ANC for MEM pilots these days. It doesn't seem like we need fewer pilots in ANC, It seems like we need more. Check out these ANC pairings that were converted to MEM pairings.

Just passing along the bad news from someone in the know. I think they can run the operation with MEM disputed pairing flyers if they have too. I am being excessed, but there are MEM hotel STBY's in ANC...Thanks for all of the help ALPA.

couldn't find 2453/1aug but 2425 turned into a 79 credit hr bag drag

Got a call for Draft today, 30 hour trip. Said they had no other options. Going to be tough to cover some trips in the future I think, however the MEM guys coming up may be willing to fly draft.

Only 4 guys on A+ reserve tomorrow(Monday), 3 of which have been assigned trips and 1 only has 2 days left. There were 15+ guys on reserve a couple of months ago... Still overmanned????

True, for now. But, as a previous poster mentioned, how does the addition of more 777s change the system form?
