ANC Excess?

Lots of hotel stby in ANC for MEM pilots these days. It doesn't seem like we need fewer pilots in ANC, It seems like we need more. Check out these ANC pairings that were converted to MEM pairings.

Got a call for Draft today, 30 hour trip. Said they had no other options. Going to be tough to cover some trips in the future I think, however the MEM guys coming up may be willing to fly draft.

Only 4 guys on A+ reserve tomorrow(Monday), 3 of which have been assigned trips and 1 only has 2 days left. There were 15+ guys on reserve a couple of months ago... Still overmanned????

True, for now. But, as a previous poster mentioned, how does the addition of more 777s change the system form?
