No draft calls in the past 3 years. Bus BLG's around 54 hrs this month. Fishing in lake Arkabutla the other day,... caught one Gar. He was able to snag a tooth on my index finger as I tried to cut him loose. In retrospect, I should have kept him to help supplement my grocery bills.
Heat index on "The Planet" today, 106.
I feel sorry for you Guys up there.

Draft, what you talkin about Willis? As long as my BLG is less than my GUARANTEE I do not give a rat's a$$ if the Company "needs" me, even if it would make things easier on my checkbook.

This Company is enjoying this so much they may even get addicted to it, I for one, will not make it any easier on them while they are not holding up to the agreement.

Not throwing stones, but everyone should think about the message being sent by FDX. Skimp on the guarantee to the MAX extent and then just use HUNGER, NEED and for some GREED to get the job done. It is akin to the Company taking our money and passing it out on an AS NEEDED basis to get the freight moved. This way they keep the maximum amount they can. This is almost as bad as a cash for clunkers deal because many of us with the most money being stolen from us have the least opportunity to be in line for the FDX Clunker Program, if you don't fly the 57 or the 30 HKG your model is not eligible for the hand out!

Maybe acknowledge there is a problem and that they are working furiously to rectify the situation with the company. I know it was the "right thing to do" to screw half of the crew force, but personally I would like to see a little more for my $5000 a year. Do you want me to list about 10 other issues they have done squat on?

From what I have heard Flag Ops has stricter duty limits. It is causing alot of head scratching because we are looking at an undermanned situation if the whole company goes to it. Supposedly the company is trying to "swing" some deal that we are Flag Ops only on the ultra long distance flights, but the FAA is saying you either are Flag or your'e not. It is kind of like being a little bit pregnant.
