...you're Spot On Paddles.

But, it simply isn't hard at all to figure out each crew members individual amount.

Just pull up the monthly pay screens since Feb 09 and look at the awarded BLG awards...then give back pay to buy them for each pilot who was awarded a line below the minimum.

Carryover, trip trades, drops, use of makeup, etc simply don't matter

This is exactly the same way is was being done for most of 2008.

I bet if you sent out an FCIF that this was happening and for everyone to submit a form for their "back pay", it would be completed within hours...if not minutes!

Now, given all that --- I think talking about this is getting waaaaay ahead of the arbitration at hand.

This sounds like the accepted fare "problem". They could easily solve it and do the right thing if they were motivated to do so.

But, alas, these are problems that have been caused by them and I predict an extreme reluctance to give us anything more than a lump sum unless directed to do otherwise by an outside authority.

I think we should all submit pay logs every month and let the company deny them. Send a copy to the Union. Atleast there would be a paper trail.

The union is sort of doing that for us. Notice the union MEC home page. Each months it tracks the total that 4.a.2.b stole from us that month, it also includes a year-to-date total. See below (I like it!)

September
31,460 Credit Hours
$5,033,600

Year-to-Date
242,810 Credit Hours
$38,849,600

How much of that $38,849,600 do you think PC (and the rest of the chain of command) took home in their MBO bonuses? How much more for fuel sense savings?

Where's our fuel sense bonus?

If we do win some monetary award, and that is a big "if," let's make sure that the MEC doesn't put it in some strike preparedness fund. It should all go to the crew force. The crew force that did not get BLG, that is.

I'm still waiting for my last SCOPE check.

Hmmmm, and then claim all the lost pay as an unreimbursed business expense next April. Everyone else is getting a gubmint bailout, why not us. ;)
