they're under manned right now because they haven't re-trained all of us that are being forced back to the right seat yet. Don't you just love the guys in charge!

Just go into VIPS and choose not to be called for draft. They haven't called me since Jan. That's when I decided that since we are "overmanned" I didn't need to be flying draft.

I've been called many times over the past couple of years in spite of the fact that I have selected do not call in VIPS.

...just sell your house (again), move your family (again), and go to training and take it like a man

Telling them no is a lot more satisfying though.

Sounds like the box carriers have reached the airline pilot's reality, many airlines it is a way of life, min days off, min rest periods, training on days off, drafting on a daily basis, ...and the slide continues, the more I try to get back into the business, the more disturbed I become of what the business is becoming.

Never should a company fail, or do poorly and the upper management walk away enriched by the experience.
