Any ideas out there on boycotting and picketing in front of Aeroservices? If not a picket line, then some signs or posters on the front lawn... Anything to make those people walking in that building think twice.During the 1997 UPS Teamsters strike, the IPA dispatched a van to a critical chokepoint that led into Signature Flight Support... The one way in and out that any potential strikebreakers would have to cross. They had a video camera and everything... It was pretty effective because on the last night of the strike, the night that if they flew subcontractors would be considered scabs, UPS's lear ramp was full of empty subcontractor planes with no pilots willing to fly them.

It was awesome because it was the only thing that would allow a pilot to be able to tell their company.. "Hey, I felt threatened so I didn't cross the line.." I think that is the only protection a non-union pilot has in choosing not to fly struck goods without getting fired.
Also, pilots pressuring their company to use a different company for initial and recurrent sim training might help.
