I liked the part where it said cargo pilots have more opportunity for in-flight rest because they don't have passengers or flight attendants bothering them.

or the threat that DOD airlift services would be harmed since they need to fly for DOD contracts. What filth!
How juvenile: If this safety is harmed tantrum doesn't work, then fine, we cry you will harm the DOD with new limits on cargo pilots. What an immature debate style. Oh well.

It kind of reminds of when you had to write papers back in high school/college and the teacher would require a certain number of pages and citations.

Looks like a wish list for the carriers.

So, this is what I expect to happen after all the appropriate payoffs occur.

Hi!

I don't want to have my cake and eat it to.

I want to have my cake, and then eat your cake, and your buddy's cake, and anyone else's cake that happens to be standing around.

I am a Cargo Airline. I deserve all your cake!!!

Thumbs down CAA represents Airline management

The CAA's job is to mitigate, minimize, delay, and disrupt any regulations, policies and procedures that their members feel would cost, impede, or disrupt how they do business and spend money. They call it "over-regulating.

What amazes me is that they actually could submit this piece of SH*(!

Flight time, duty times, crew rest are human performance based, not based on whether you fly boxes or people.

Do some detailed reading on this...what is humorous is the comments about horizontal rest facilities that some carriers provide at their hubs during "hub turns" for their crewmembers, and that they (Big Purple and Brown) have fixed and addressed these challenges....I am still laughing about that....too bad our schedules aren't reflecting this.

Also, fly longer hours...with just a little bit shorter day, such as in the EU...

Just Say NO!

Default FDX contract verbage

I started skimming the proposal and started seeing a LOT of similarity to our current contract language. We all know how well that works after a few days! To prevent calling in sick for my trip tomorrow, I had to quit reading. The current rules are woefully inadequate for cumulative fatigue and only work on the fifth tuesday of the month when mars and jupiter are in alignment. Just like pay from a GRID penality!

Not GRID penalty - I'm sure you meant "Goldmine of Unknown Proportion"

Cheers
