UPS: Don't Fail Me Now!!
#1
So my coffee shop finally is going to open on October 12, 2009. Wheeee! Remember that if you have a layover and decide to stop by, mention your APC username to me and you get the APC Super Duper Pilot Discount.
Anyway, I decided to use the credit card merchant services out of Atlanta. [As an aside, I have to share that the customer service guy (Jason) has the cutest and sexiest Southern accent. I found myself asking him all kinds of irrelevant questions just so I could listen to him speak]. They are sending me a new credit card machine and it is being shipped via UPS. It is supposed to get here on Friday (that would be tomorrow!). Yes, I know it's cutting it close, but I had many other fires to put out the last three months.
UPS, don't fail me now. I really need that thing to arrive on time.

I hope we'll be able to deliver on time. If not, I'll blame it on the dang FDX driver... FDX - UPS encounter

Do you happen to know the toll free number for the UPS Customer Stressed Out line? The credit card machine thing did not arrive tonight. I literally and figuratively beat the bushes in front of my house, in back of the house, in the neighbor's house. Nothing. Maybe tomorrow.

For the 7 people on this forum who know about this place, enjoy the coffee. Maybe advertising isn't allowed, but the way this is going, Ms. Vagabond, you won't need your cash/credit machine very long. Word-of-mouth is any business' best chance at success.......

I hate to say it, and of course some here will bring up the fact that "I hate UPS", but you should have used FedEx. That way at least, if your stuff hadn't arrived, you wouldn't have had to look all over the place for it. And don't forget to file for your refund, because if you don't, you won't get it.

I've had Purple tell me that it was bad boomers in MEM when the weather had been CAVU and had them tell me they'd left the package on my deck when I'd been home all day...only to find it had been put on the wrong semi at the sort and was at a local office 80 miles away.
I've had Brown leave me someone elses package who lives five miles away and swear to me they had not...when I called the person who's name was on the box, they had mine.
It cut's both ways.....
