Default WGS-84 in China

Does China use WGS-84 or equivalent for instrument procedures? I couldn't find this information in the CRAR (LIDO). Are we allowed to fly FMS approaches designed using another reference datum?

Default Wgs-84?

I thought that was the warning area permanently offset 3 miles to the right of every jet route!

Not sure...but I do know that if you are "lined up and waiting" on 35L or 35R at PVG you will more then likely indicate a mapshift with the runway.

From ICAO:

China advised APANPIRG/19 that
WGS 84 implementation is in
progress and planned to be
completed in 2010 for all existing
airports. All new airports will use
WGS84 immediately.

There's an article in BCA about operating in China. In a nutshell, don't assume that WGS 84 is used or current.
