Who says you can't teach an old freight dog new tricks?

Identify the Deviation: Missing FCIF authorizing NO CAT for Thanksgiving dinner for crew members on the road today.

Command the Correction: Issue said FCIF posthaste.

Intervention: You'll get nothing, and LIKE it, Spaulding! BTW, your nearest CVS pharmacy has some killer beef jerky.

Just for the record:

Talking to buds at crappy, money-losing airline jobs today, their companies are all putting on Thanksgiving spreads for the pilots. FDX - nothing.

"O" is apparently so busy at home doing his Thanksgiving that he didn't even have the time to write a cost-neutral "Thanks for being away on Thanksgiving" FCIF. It's safe to say that relations are at a new low.

Oh well.

Yep. Speaks volumes about this company and the Chief ???? I would have used Pilot, but I'm not sure that word fits. Is he one of us? I certainly don't blame a guy for being at home with his family on Thanksgiving, but lead-turning the holiday by writing a "Thanks" yesterday and then sending it today would have been a nice gesture. Of course the day isn't over yet.

FCIF just out. I can't match CaptDan, but hotel room #2208 (you pick the city) is offering free beef jerky to all.

I am truly grateful for family, friends, health, and full employment; no more whining from me today. Enjoy this day of giving thanks.
