Wait -- it's a 727 FLEX Captain called in for draft to be my F/O. Excellent -- at least he's junior to me -- LOL! Some guys just don't get it and NEVER WILL. Each one of these episodes just continues to feed the 4a2b animal. The best part was he complained the whole time about the contract and all the 4a2b issues that have affected him so greatly.. Once I chimed in that I'd still be hanging out in the AOC working on my lines for January -- if his dumb arse didn't accept the draft call -- he pretty much became the GAFO from that point on. Simply pathetic. |
Figured I'd cheer you guys on. I haven't been called (727 CAP) but if they do, I'm with you! Don't think you guys are towing the line alone. There are plenty of us others who feel the same and are willing to walk the walk with you!

Kind of interesting gaps in the data posted by PC. One might make the argument that the months were cherry picked to make the numbers seem inline with the historic averages.
Guess it would be pretty easy to manipulate the data since traditionally not as much flying going on in the spring-summer, and the country was in a recession for almost half of the sample. Yet, when you look at the uptick in the year totals, have to realize that it's only 1 month making that big uptick for the year. I might believe it more if the metrics for each month were produced (should be easy to put into a table). And combine it with another table of reserve utilization. Something that the company should also be able to provide. One might ponder back to something Clemens popularized 100+ years ago. "there are lies, damned lies, and statistics" |

I wonder why folks persist in believing that that the company should, or will, provide data that bolsters labor's arguments against management. If we want the data , we're gonna have to collect it ourselves, and not hope that manglement will spoon feed it to us. They ain't on our side, folks!
