Default FedEx discount?

I don't know if this has been covered, but do we not get a discount on FedEx "first overnight?" I recently sent my sister a letter overnight, and was charged the full $55.85, with no discount applied to my account? ****! I called the 1-800 no that was on my Amex recap, and was told that "employees don't get the discount on Fedex First overnight"? ... also was told that "it is in the service manual?" and that you should have been told about it when you were hired? I told the lady this is the first time in 13 yrs that my discount has not been applied and that no one told me that when I was hired! Should I call the union?

I'm fairly certain we don't get a discount on First Overnight. If you go to login to fedex.com and ship a package, when you put in all of the shipping details and then get down to where it has the cost, our discount will show up. I've never seen it applied to First overnight, only Priority and below. I think you're out of luck. Sorry.
