Our country has just gone through the worst economic downturn since the 1940's and UPS still made over 750 million (nearly tripling profits) in the last 90 days of 2009. Hopefully they can spend a few of those dollars and get the Favres on threir way to Shady Acres.

They layoff and they lose the MOU. The people with the seniority number get the seat you don't like it you are in the wrong business.

Agreed the MOU would be cancelled. I think a furlough for 2-3 years would cover that cost though. I have been in the flying business for almost 15 years now almost 3 at UPS so I do know that seniority rules (Except foreign airlines). I don't hate the "Playaz" I just hate the "GAME"

Yeah, I would think the only way they could go to the back seat is to be displaced. No way would a senior captain (or FO) get hit by a displacement bid assuming they're sitting in a flying seat right now.
