FedEx Jumpseate question

There is a place, but it's not what I would call "near" to where you check-in. FedEx has an employee lot about mid-way down democrat, just past the rental car entrance and across from the old Guard entrance. Conveniently marked with a traffic light to make your navigation easier. In theory, you are supposed to park in the same area the hub workers park in then flag down the smaller crew van as it passes either hub pick up point and they will take you into the AOC.
The bus is supposed to run every 10 minutes and it's a relatively short bus ride. When I go to work, I tend to try to be in the parking lot at least 20 mins prior to show.
IF you have a bunch of time, and you aren't planning to get back to Memphis via FedEx, then I'd suggest you park in your normal employee lot and just shuttle over to the terminal. FedEx has a crew bus run through the airport periodically, pickup point is straight outside of the Delta baggage claim. Pretty sure there's a sign there now to ID the spot they expect you to be. Crew bus even has an extension on the hotlines inside baggage claim. Pickup the phone and dial 19.
Good Luck
