Default failed bidding-FedEx

I bid a reserve line by mistake. Sucks for me.

If I put that I want it converted to a secondary line, will they build that in senority with the other secondary lines or will they build all the secondary lines, then go to the reserve lines that want to be converted and build them with the leftover trips?

25.D.4.

4. Conversion Lines

a. A conversion line is a reserve line that has been converted into a secondary line as provided in this paragraph. Conversion lines shall be constructed after the construction of all secondary lines and in seniority order among those pilots submitting for conversion.

b. A pilot's bid may contain a submission for conversion of his reserve line, if awarded.

c. If a pilot submits a line construction worksheet that identifies certain days off to be protected, his reserve line shall not be voluntarily converted unless those days off are protected.
d. A pilot who has submitted for a voluntary conversion line shall contact VIPS within 3 days prior to the commencement of the bid period to determine if his line was converted.

The other down side of being converted is it will probably still be R-Days, just where they want them.

They will only build a conversion line when, after building all the secondary lines, they feel there are too many trips left in open time. Good luck

I figured that. I suck. I'll learn the hard way not to make that mistake again.

Look on the bright side. You made everyone junior to you happier by one bid choice for one month. Gotta be some Karma points in that.

At least you could hold a reserve line! I bid all rsv lines for March because of vacation and could only hold VTO at the bottom. R-Days coming via that process with NO leveling.
