Does UPS have a corporate AC/fleet?
#2
Not aware of one. The airline certainly doesn't. The airline management folks move on the regular fleet on jumpseats. Perhaps the corporate folks in ATL have something on the side, but I was in ATL a few years back and saw a very senior ATL manager (corporate) boarding a Delta jet. Certainly no FedEx style flight dept in ATL though. Maybe a truck--- er feeder- corporate dept that gets them from place to place.

UPS management tries to put just about anyone on the jumpseat, to avoid spending money on a commercial ticket (too cheap). This includes schedulers, HR, etc...
Some captain have nads enough to deny them the jumpseat. This is perfectly legal. ie. no license, no ride. Mechanics, dispatchers, offline pilots are no problem. Other captains either don't care or don't understand their authority and are willing to take anyone the company lists, sad!
