Yes. Roberto for one. He's admitted it on the B&G, not to mention it's easy to figure out anyway. And he tries to justify it whenever he can...career earnings, it won't make a difference, etc.

no, to be precise, he stated on the bar and grill that the reason he doesn't follow the ot ban is because some of the junior pilots on apc were against him coming back when the age 60 rule changed. a real piece of work this guy is.

I don't remember any requirement to live in the US for 2 years prior to being hired at UPS. But it wasn't an issue for me either.

This could be a requirement at FedEx due to their US postal contracts. Maybe one of their "recently" hired will chime in to confirm or deny.

The purple requirement is to live in the US for 5 yrs prior to hire, excluding military deployments (due to USPS requirements). Ironically, that doesn't apply to our own crewmembers based in HKG, and formerly SFS.

My condolences to Brown crew for the situation over there. I can't say I can properly put myself in the bottom 54-300's shoes, but perhaps it would be prudent for people on both sides of that line to respect the other side's right to have their view, while having their own view... Not lecturing, b/c I can see both pts of view, and it seems to me that both are valid and emotional. Hopefully it'll be a short-lived thing.

To borrow from the late Bill Buckley, what airline executives fear is a unified, committed, tightly-bound pilot group. Which means they have little to fear.....
