FDX Stock
#11
Should have sold it when it reached around 90. Just didn't have the number readily avialable for my ESOPP account. I've bought and sold the stock over my 20 years and only once in a while does it get much above 95. Dosen't split either. A little lower price just helps with the dollar cost averaging....

FDXLAG,
not a bad thing to do.
Do remember that losses over 3000 are carried into subsequent years so might be possible to do both.
Have to remember that stock prices don't necessarily correspond to the actual value strength of the company. (see dot.com stocks)
It's a combination of the physical and the emotional. FDX is a cyclical stock and right now the emotion is running against us. The stock price isn't going to go up just because the company is seeing greater demand for lift and taking planes out of storeage. Quite easy for me to believe the stock price is going to continue to drop for a bit.
But, that's just an opportunity to get greedy when others are fearful.

There's more than one grain of truth in following the investment advice of Al Czervik.
Sometimes it's good to be a contrarian investor. Other times it's good to just be standin on the sidelines watchin the crowd panic.
