Sorry son, been there and done that. Atrocities will always be done by both sides.

If you feel you have and will always be abused-just quit. If you feel the prospect of a good future continue. Anything else is just BS. What say ye now?

Listen son (I'm probably as old as you)....I hear that crap all the time. The place you got furloughed from was losing money or bankrupt. No choice. You got your notice. See you later. None of that BS is going on here. It makes a BIG difference. If you cannot see the difference you are not nearly as smart as you think you are. But, if it makes you feel better then so be it.

I probably have(quit). I have a new job lined up and will probably not be coming back here, if things work out. Happy?

Atrocities are hardly appropriate here BTW. The atrocities committed by the victors in any conflict are often written so many years after the fact, the facts are lost or forgotten.

Sometimes moving on is the best possible resolution. It does not make me happy, but if moving on makes you happy, I am happy.:D

Not much further to discuss at this point. And I surely won't argue your decision.

You want to see bankruptcy prior to a furlough? Bad choice for the majority.
Perhaps you don't really care about the majority? Where does that leave us?

Just a comment on the current times. Times that have the world going Jihad and burning the books of one another, times that are clearly a tipping point in the world and our country.

This sounds like the dull mind that you say is so dangerous. When you are ready to un-dull your mind, please note the following:

The world is not going Jihad, only radical islamists are.

We are not burning each other's books. Only radical islamists do that... Along with burning non-islamic churches and the non-islamic people within.

Perhaps this was just an oversight on your part, but it is a tragic mistake to make an equivalency when none exists. The current state of the world is blind hatred on one side, and defending freedom on the other.

Old time rule to live by.

I know it's a simple rule but perhaps this appllies.

Perhaps we can look past our own nose and see the use of the word Jihad here is a metaphor.
The real threat is more of a Jihad of bureaucrats, dangerous exactly because they are not radical enough. The real tragedy is that they have plenty of support.
