FedEx EWR

Trying to find out how many are listed on flt. 15 EWR-ANC on 10/13. The j/s desk is not very informative and actually led me to believe that I may get bumped. Could any of the fine folks at FedEx tell me how many riders there are or the # to EWR ops? PM me of course. Thx

2 VERY quick responses. You guys are a class act over there. The brown cesspool I work for has a lot to learn. Our pilots are fine, but everybody else.................

Its a 777, its booked with one on standby.

I think it shows booked because it doesn't have any non-cockpit jumpseats, like the 727.

The way I read it, there's only one booked. That's the guy showing standby. If you're cockpit qualified they may still get you on.

You have to ask the captain's permission, though.

Yep, good catch, I forgot about that!

When there is any doubt when I'm talking to jumpseats, I always ask: "how many jumpseats on that airplane", pause, "and how many bodies are currently booked against those seats". Direct, easy questions and the answers make the math easy for even me :D

It most certainly does have 4 very nice forward facing jumpseats OUTSIDE the cockpit as well as the cockpit ones.

Actually on the 777 the outside jumpseats are treated as though they are cockpit jumpseats due to the fact it has no cockpit door.

Similar question ... Do you have a webpage that other airlines can access to find jumpseat schedules. PM replies if you like.
