On the ramp I worked, the guy that flew the F-27 in/out to EWR would park his plane after returning from EWR at 5am, run inside, change clothes, punch his time card and help unload his plane and sort freight, He did this 5days/week, 3 weeks/month, on his off week, he worked midnight to 8am on the ramp. He also worked the weekends.

Unfortunately, he was eligible for interview mid Sep96 and FedEx had changed the internal hiring mins from 1000 PIC/SIC in turboprop > 20K lbs to 1000 PIC on Sept 1st.. - he had ~850PIC in the F27 at that point. He opted not to work another 3-4 months at our ramp due to a manager change that didn't like his "special" deal and he's now at UPS!

Bottom line is, if you want something bad enough, you find away to make it happen!
