LOL! We don't pay for travel or hotels for new hires in training...you really think we would pay for poolies?

If this gouge is correct.. some of the initial group will very quickly find themselves in a window seat. If we add 175 to the group already in the back, it overflows fast! A vast majority of the S/Os currently on the list either a) have training dates for other seats b) passed on window seats last time or c) are no longer qualified for window seats.
We'll see how many bypass on the next bid. But I'm sure there will be those who camp out for QOL.
Either way though, congratulations to those about to get their seniority number. We are all glad to have you coming aboard.

When I went over to the dark side at Big D, they had a big shebang dinner during indoc for all the newhires. All significant others invited, semi-formal.
The CEO, Chief Pilot, Director of OPNS, etc all attended. It was a terrific gesture for a post-bankruptcy company.......Not even a balogna sandwich at FedEx. It sure earned a lot of good will from the troops, maybe some of you big boys can suggest it to "0" unless it costs you on the next contract !
