Guys,

I am toyally in agreement with Biteme. We need to start using some OPSEC before we start telling secret handshake info to everybody who claims they are an 18 year old newbie just looking to learn about the industry. Before I started to reading this forum I thought I would be able to pick out a imposter with the informal Q&A before they get on the jumpseat but with all the info guys give out on this site a true sociopath could just fabricate a scarry accurate persona with hire date, approximate emp#, and event which took place at the company around that time. If you want to mentor be like a pedophile and get their phone number and instant message them personally to insure your not talking to Ahmed.

Translate please? In English, with some sense of grammer and spelling.

I think I've found the imposter. English is definately not your first language.

Roger Orion,

I was guilty of posting without proofreading. I used run-on sentences, bad grammar, and poor spelling. Do you feel superior now? You are now welcome to share your incredibly witty pearls of wisdom.
My point was. There is a significant volume of information posted on this forum that individually does not mean much, but taken collectively could be used by an imposter quite effectively. If an individual feels the need to share potentially sensitive information, perhaps an instant message, e-mail, or phone call is more appropriate to communicate certain kinds of data. Do you have anything pertinent to add?

If you have something to post it may be nice if others could understand it. Sorry but that other post looked like a 5 year old hitting random keys on a keyboard. So get offended if you like, at least I could comprehend your sarcasm. Here is a "witty pearl of wisdom", if the FEDEX flight schedule is sensitive info perhaps the monthly bid packs should be classified. Maybe we could have the two man rule or sit in a vault to bid our schedule.

Not very witty and not pertinent! You just do not get it Orion. The problem is not the bidpack. Which, by the way is classified to a degree behind the Fedex website or Fedex Hub Security. It is the info that people post that gives context to the bidpack that I take issue with. When indivuals post their entire history with Fedex/UPS they provide a template to emulate. If you were to print out all the selected posts of some of the more prolific writers on this forum you would get a veritable DNA for pilot culture at Fedex/UPS.

You would rather snipe back and forth and get your punches in. This is something I have no interest in. Nice job of turning a valid topic of discussion into an I'm smarter than you contest. English may be my second language but at least I can read beween the lines.

The forum rules are clear about SSI, if anyone feels that a security issue exists, please share your concerns and include specifics. There is a lot of parochial information on the boards, but I'm sure we don't have a monopoly on the content.

I don't think you get it. So if I ask to take a look at your bid pack you are going to tell me no because it is classified? Get real, the passenger carriers actually publish a schedule and ours is not that hard to figure out. Besides I get my ID checked coming through the gate on the Democrat bus. How more secure can we get than that?
