I really want to vote "NO," but come on! Why wouldn't the Company not want to pi$$ us off? I don't think they're really scared of us since history has proven we can't act as a united group to save ourselves...
Obviously, the Company would rather have the FDA than to out source our European flying. But if we deny them the FDA, I don't see what would stop them from pursuing this option, and buying TNT for example. This is my biggest fear if the TA doesn't pass, and we end up losing ALL our intra-european flying in the end. I've searched online and asked people to prove that my fears are unfounded, but no one has convinced me yet. Anyone????

Seems to me like you and the other "angry 20" on this Forum are the unity problem.
Didn't we elect the MEC? Didn't they appoint the Neotiating Committe.
If you don't support them now what message are you sending to the company about how you will support them later.
MY NEGOTIATING COMMITTEE SPEAKS FOR ME!
Still have my sticker on my bag from the last time!

If your negotiating committee speaks for you, then what is this ratification vote silliness all about?
So by your logic, all those you have helped vote into political office are infallible and should be blindly trusted.
Wow! That is all I have to say.........

I think I'm going to have a sticker made that says "I SPEAK FOR ME"!
You know, when the right things are being done, people will naturally unify behind it. Collective doesn't mean that we all agree with whatever we're told to agree with. It means that we select a representative to convey our position as a group (as determined via tools like the Wilson Survey).
Is that really being accomplished here?

Awesome! A sticker! Catch phrases! That's what I would use to help me navigate this complex issue too!

In an effort to get back on topic, can anyone else see why voting "No" will jeopardize our European flying? I don't believe that our Scope language will protect us. So what would prevent FedEx from out sourcing Europe if we vote the TA down?
