I drive a '97 ford aerostar, it gets 20 mpg.
typical car for a rich fedex pilot right? a few fedex pilots make ungodly amounts of money, but most of us are scratching for cash, just like the rest of the country.
as to inflation, there might be some. that's better than last year, where there was actual deflation!
im voting NO on the ta, since it leaves us with NO leverage. the company wants their damn fda's, and they can give us a real long term contract in return. there's no way to properly negotiate that contract until august when the nprm comes due, so I say we sit.

if I didn't have to fly, I WOULD BE RIGHT THERE!!!!!!!
Unions are what separate middle class Americans from Indians or Chinese. Have you ever been to either of these countries. Your big paycheck comes courtesy of a union, by the way. have you researched pay rates at non-union American cargo airlines? Look at southern air's pay rates and see if you like what you see....

You forgot 40 hour workweek and sick leave. Sell it to the teamsters. What does that have to do with public sector unions and how they team up with the democrats to line each others pockets with money borrowed from my future grand kids.

Now that we have that straight, you blowhard! Lets talk about our pay rates. At Southern Air and places like Kalitta Air.
At Southern Air, for 20 days per month, at their max captains rate you will earn $144,480 per year. At Fedex, most widebody FO's make that much money.
So what are our senior captains on the 777 earning? They are getting often times over 200 flight hours per month. At a top pay rate of $280 per hour that works out to a nice sum of $56,000 per month. Do you see the pattern yet, FDXLAG?
Fedex is a UNION carrier, while Southern Air is NON-UNION.

Put down the Fox News crack pipe. The "O" is pro labor. Whether you like to admit it or not, you are labor. "W" was pro management/business. One of the many ironies of our pilot group is how far off to the right we are. I think pilots hate the idea that we are actually labor. Sorry I had to be the one to break it to you....

First of all, you aren't even a fedex pilot. Why are you posting here?
