Ironically you guys are starting to sound like Ross Perot...
More and more creative slamming the union, to what end? Talk about silence, if you were dictator what would you do? Hmmmmmm?
Crickets....
I assume you'd come up with some bumper sticker slogans about "playing smart" or some other babblespeak. How about just giving UPS whatever they want and saying thank you sir may I have another, because that's what they will settle for.
Good luck with that...

Well BM, first I would stop making outrageous predictions, none of which have come true. Second, before announcing to the world that I was going to absorb the mgrs into the IPA, I would work in conjunction with the EB and other experts to formulate a well thought out plan. Not BT true to his style it's (ready fire aim, than Oops).
IMHO BT does not have the right personality to be EB pres. He is too impulsive and short tempered.
Your tired retort of concessions is getting old. Just because someone disagrees with BT does not mean I want to give anything back to UPS. Who's slamming the Union? I'm just questioning the actions of 1 member of the EB board the President.
Still waiting to hear what positive things BT has accomplished as IPA pres.

You seem to have an inside into the inner workings of the IPA, please enlighten me with some positive things BT has accomplished.

How about the 32 in 7 opinion rendered by the FAA's own attorneys? That's a big FAR that had been circumvented by UPS, but should not be any longer after the 60 day comment period.

BT can have credit on this when we actually see it implemented in our bid packages. A comment period is premature for celebration.
Also, I'm trying to remember, has the FAA ever sat on anything after a comment period closed? Nah, they wouldn't do that...

Much like my response to 777 rumors of old: I'll believe it when I see it on our ramp in ups colors...

Especially if it would economically cripple a large airline. Not a chance ...
I've considered that the FAA would rule against UPS, but allow them to continue their "unique" intrepretation to appease UPS. Might even cite the upcoming NPRM as a rational for not enforcing immediately ... bwtfdik

Right now they are all praying at the alter, asking that the water stays blue, and a fabled chicken does't come to life and lower the "sky" any further.

And they will stay quiet. The same intellectuals would have been calling for our previous leaders head on a platter, and demanding a resignation.

He then promised to fix it in his last campaign and did nothing...he lied through his teeth.
Thrush screwed up, and apparently so did you by coming to work here here. One of the screw-ups can be rectified. People are hiring...it's your choice to remain the victim/martyr/expert or take your rare talents somewhere else.
I'll continue to say it quite loudly because both are truths...the truth can be annoying at times, eh sport?
