No telling how many man hours it took the FDX programs to create a more sophisticated way to log in to VIPS and it took our pilot programmers ONE DAY to figure out a work around so their programs still work

A FDX friend of mine jumpseated on UPS one night and sat through our sort. This was his first time to see our facilities, equipment, acft configurations, and listening to our crews.
I was curious what his opinion was, and asked him what he thought. I think he summed it up superbly.

"At FDX, we are pretty screwed up. But you guys are REALLY screwed up'"
