BidEx is a monthly bidding program and much more. Logs on to the company computer (use to be automatically) and does all our trip trading and schedule changing for us.

Fx eGrid is a... was a... auto log in program so we could access the company website. Both very useful and well designed. (better?)

The company just changed the "grid" system to keep these programs from auto-working.. we now have to jump through meaningless hoops to do what these programs did for us before. Does nothing to enhance security that I can see, you have to put in your personal 20 or 30 character grid to make the auto program work.. so why spend the capital to lock these programs out... why not use the time and effort for good instead of evil?

You got the BidX answer right but E grid????? Auto log in program???

In most Fedex pilot's world, the e-grid is a 5x10 grid of random letters and numbers. When a pilot logs into the Fedex pilot website, he is prompted to enter 3 of these random characters.

In more simplistic terms, one is very useful and one is a pain in the a$$!
