I am using Windows 7 Ultimate. FastBid worked perfectly before the company put in the captcha routine, but the 4.62 update did not work for me. Tried it both ways, complete install and update from within the program. The captcha window does not appear and my upload never did work. Any ideas?

I have windows 7 as well and now have to open up fastbid from the new folder on the desktop created after downloading the update--the old icon would only open up the old version...

Thank you, Jim. I am addicted to FastBid and appreciate the hard work & dedication that you put in to maintaining it.

For everyone else.... Is there a Betty Ford Clinic of some sort for me to attend when Jim finally throws in the hat and I have to switch software???

I concur! Jim has always responded very quickly whenever I contacted him with a problem (usually just "operator" error). The vacation routine in FastBid is excellent and saves me a LOT of time every time I use it.

By the way, as usual, my problem getting 4.62 to work for me was my own fault. When I tried to install it over 4.61, it asked if I wanted to repair or uninstall FastBid. I should have selected Uninstall instead of Repair. Apparently, it needs to uninstall the old version before installing the new one. Anyway, it saved all my previous work and I didn't have to start over with the June bidpack. Kudos to you, Jim.

Absolutely. The only reason I have Windows on my MacBook at all is to run FastBid and Quicken.

FastBid is running fine on my MacBook Air with VMWare/Windows XP (and FastBid is the only reason I have windozs on my Mac).
