Default Getting from IAD PAX term to FedEx Ops?

Is there an easy way to do this besides a cab?

Sorry, only other good way is to bum a ride with another jumpseater ...

Try Washington Flyer Taxi 703-661-6655, tell them you need a pickup at the airport FedEx (Cargo Building 5).

you can walk it if you feel up to it. Come out and head left through parking deck, then your in front of the cargo building. Done it before to the UPS ramp.

When are you coming thru? I live near IAD and If I am available I can give your a ride. The walk is doable but long.

I always take a cab. Second level, $6.50. Tell them FedEx cargo on Airfreight Ln.

Despite UPS and FedEx being located close to each other on the "airside," on the ground side they are quite a walk apart from each other.

I would be glad to walk if there were a hole in the fence and sidewalks ... I wouldn't recommend walking. Because of the security fence around the FedEx parking lot, it's a long walk (around the fence) to UPS. You have to walk a quarter of a mile in the opposite direction to get around the fence and the airline catering folks. There are no sidewalks, it's tough wheeling your roller bags through the grass.

I wonder if you could get a ride (ramp agent or maintenance?) to the UPS ramp, walk through UPS and then walk from there. Don't know? Never asked or spoke with anyone that done it?

Thanks :-)

We got in a half an hour early since there were no winds and made the last PAX flight out.

It wasn't for me, but my CA whose father in law just got admitted to the hospital and had to get home ASAP.
