Default Bidding after surgery while using DSA account

Recovering from sugery and currently NQ and using my DSA account. Was told when bidding for Oct that go ahead and bid and that after talking with my surgeon and Kendall and getting an up, that a custom line will be built after the VTO's go down. Basically get the dreg leftovers. Also have 7 days vacation in Oct. Any guidance appreciated. Thanks.

Might want to bid max days off to limit the number of days they can work you on a custom line.

If you are bidding pay only (because I'm gathering you are not able to bid because of your NOQ status), you will be awarded a custom line. Futures will determine how many days you "owe" the company based on the RLG/BLG you are awarded. There is actually a formula that they use to compute the days owed--it's in the contract. Your VAC days are also input into this formula. Bid wisely, but when it's all said and done, you will get the leftovers.....mostly A RSV. Good luck and glad you're on the mend.

Thanks for the info. Although I'd like to say surgery was for a boob lift and tummy tuck, (see Avatar) it was really for a gallbladder gone crazy. Thanks again. Being sick really sucks. However I was able to go flying yesterday in a friends Cessna 195. That big radial engine really shakes up the bowels......
