I am just trying to figure out how to get the WHOPPER computer to pull my name out the hat. Maybe it will happen after the first of the year. Come on 2012.
Keep trying and good luck!

...but just realize there are 4,000 other pilots with current/updated applications in with FEDEX right now, and they are only looking to hire about another 360 in the next 20 months.

Guys shouldn't beat themselves up if they don't get a call.

Keep moving the mission safely in your unit....things will pick up across the whole industry in 2012 and 2013.

FedEx has hired TONS of military turboprop (lots of P-3, C-130, C-12 folks) drivers over the years. Despite the latest computer hiring maze, I have to believe that a military (instructor) guy with overwater international cargo hauling experience would get a fair chance in the hiring resume pile ...

FDX is looking for not only looking at flight experience but positive things a person does on the side.....for example , community service, volunteer work....

Do you have this on your resume????

If he's done 11 years military, he's got plenty of community service. How about you?

Default Community Service

Not only this fine patriot has done community service, he has done it at the peril of his own life. His community service has also affected his family. I cannot assess if this version of community service is understood or scored by the computer matrix, but I, along with many of my fellow FDX ex-military pilots, do. Let me offer you a libation of choice when we see you at FDX, and thank you for your service, Sir.

You would think! Like somebody said tons of qualified folks have applied and Brave new World of Hiring Jeopardy makes me regret not attending a private college, not joining enough organizations, and doing those deployments when i should have been manning the soup kitchen.

All you can do is stay current and update.
