FedEx JS to Singapore

Ladies and Gents,
A little help please. I'm looking to jumpseat MEM-KIX-SIN on a 777 this February (assuming the schedule remains the same) and I had a couple questions.
Is this a double crewed route? (i.e., will it be a full flightdeck/crewrest area?)
Are there still issues with the 777 jumpseat? Heard of some denials recently.
How easy is it to get from the cargo side to the commercial side in Singapore?
Am I better off just buying a ticket on Singapore Air? (Currently 1300 bucks on Singapore Air)
Any other gotchas?

Thanks in advance for any help,
spciii

Unless you work for Fedex, you cannot jump seat internationally..... Try Atlas, Southern or Kalitta.

I am not sure but I thought FX does not allow international jumpseating for offline but maybe it has changed now. Good Luck anyway.

Agree with others FDX (and UPS) don't allow jumpers int'l. If you can find a freighter heading to HKG (Polar does regular flights out of CVG) and then hop on Tiger to SIN, it's should be about $100 each way (after fees and all). You can try to jumpseat the Unitinental flight to SIN, but you're still going to pay something for taxes. Might as well buy a ticket cheap.

Transiting HKG can be annoying for an offline jumpseater. Unfortunately to fly out on a "LCC" there you pretty much have to clear customs and then check in and go through customs again.

Well that's a big gotcha! Thanks for the heads up. Don't care to clear customs or switch companies midstream. Thanks guys.
