Default FFDO Program more important to Cargo

Obama Administration is proposing to kill the FFDO program. I consider it critical to cargo since we don't have a group of people or attendants to potentially deal with a threat.

Not impressed with the lack of proper leadership in Washington.

That is a real slap in the face to every person that is volunteering their time and money into the program. I would love to know what planet Janet Napolitano lives on that she is completely unable to see the gaping holes in her "risk based" security idea. It really isn't a shock to me that countries that take security seriously laugh at our attempt to be "secure."

Yes...of course! The cockpit door is the last line of defense. How could I have been so dense? Thank you for clearing that up, Ms Napolitano.

How did this clueless, mouth breathing sloth of a human being end up being appointed to lead the TSA, let alone be elected to Gov of Arizona? Actually, calling her clueless is an insult to all the clueless people in the world.

If this is the quality of leader heading up the TSA, the FFDO program is doomed.

Curby,

What, exactly, is the threat on a freighter? And if you cite the FedEx pilot who went nuts, that's a real stretch. You have a big problem with stowaways?

If you have to ask, you really have no need to know.

Just wondering how many JS'ers you normally have? Full empty? and what are the type of people you get the norm kind wandering late at night?

Not an FFDO person myself but when my neighbor came home from his range session the other day with the new outsize container for his gun I figured the writing was on the wall.

Guess it's more important to fund someone's prescription contraceptives and give them a free cell phone for their drug deals than it is to give me a fighting chance in the cockpit. Where's ALPA's call to arms on this one? Maybe they still want me to Back the PAC and keep these morons driving this ship toward the rocks...

Think of all the money they could have saved without forcing that ball and chain on everyone. I just wish it would have come with a hat to wear that says "I'm carrying a GUN". Just so there would never be a doubt in anyone's mind...
