Well, I did it 16+ yrs ago by "throwing boxes" for over yr, but maybe that isn't exactly what you're asking about.

I personally know a few guys that have. But they had MD-11 time.
None have been hired though.

Quite a few have. Get in the left seat of something heavy ASAP. That's your best bet.

Either that or become an astronaut.

I fly ACMI and am currently on a 17 trip. I have it all filled out except the flight time and resume as that is in my logbook and computer at home. The question is by filling in the 1st questionair and filling out most of the app have I made it in the window and can add the times and publish it when I get home or do you need to finish and publish to have gotten into the window? Also under employment history do you need to go back to delivering pizza twenty years ago or just the standard 10 years? Good luck to all! Purple tails would be a dream!
