You have it right! Those of us from 88, remember about the 800 pound gorilla joke told in a restaurant that almost got one of us fired! My crew and I were caught talking about UPS in a bar in DSM on a long layover in 88. The Manager (yes it was a manager, not merely a supervisor!) threatened our jobs, but we never heard from him again. The stories about them using the Cockpit Voice Recorder against one of our friends in MHT a few years ago are also true. It took union intervention to stop that. They are always looking, but that's part of the fun of it.

I also have a dream like Sioux39 of being a UPS pilot someday. I am 21 yrs old and a Junior at Hillsdale College, MI. Could someone tell me roughly how many hours you need before getting an interview. TT, PIC, Turbine, ect.

Thanks,
Tim

I know a guy from Kentuckey...He says when he goes back to visit, as soon as he crosses the border, he takes off his shoes, and doesent put them back on until he comes back.
