Scenario: I have a DH about mid month so Corp Travel won't get around to dealing with it for a while (working on more current reservations first). My long haul DH dictates FC but it isn't available on the flight the pairing is based on. So eventually I'm booked in coach and wait-listed for First - but that won't happen - it's booked full and will stay that way. FDX could book a flight leaving about 2 hours later that has FC available but it would cost a little more. At what point is Scheds obligated to revise the pairing and book a different flight that has FC? If the answer is, "They never will" then what have you folks done to encourage them to revise?

It's worth a try to call scheduling, but I doubt it will help. You could also ask your ACP if he will help, and it's possible he will. I never call the ACP unless you really need help, but it's your call if you want to try this...
I'd just look for a deviation...

Probably out of luck but I have seen a circumstance where a deadhead was changed to a different carrier with first class available based on the Captain complaining to Pat Dimento. I doubt it happens much but it has happened in the not so recent past so it might be worth a call to Pat. Talk to your ALPA SIG reps first.
