In AOTC today, FLEXes' version was down to six airframes post peak. They did not have a source.

On a positive, ran into a couple of the interviewees. Nervous as cats. Were smilin', but mum.

the source is probably the fleet plan from the postings. Shows 6 operational 27's as of MAY 13 which is the month the quote for each year.

The training letter was truncated due to massive amounts of trip parking going on in the 727. Pilots were hoarding all those sweet out and backs to the Great and the Grands so it allowed Management to "close down the studio" a little earlier.

And yes, you are smoking crack. Word.

Interesting, I missed that the 727 was back in the Great and Grands. I had seen one ugly overnight that went to GTF and then BIL for the overday, but that doesn't seem to be very popular. So which pairings in particular are pilots hoarding to the Great and Grands?
