Personally, I would use the All ATPs, reduces the number of questions that you have to memorize.

Buy the book and take the test

The first time I took the test 15 years ago--I paid $250 for the one day deal and thought it was expensive. When I took it the second time 6 years ago I borrowed the FE master question book from a friend and took the test at a local FBO for $35. I did just as welll (High 90's).

Sheppard Air. Works good lasts a long time. I think they have a money back guarantee as well for scoring under a certain score.

Did AllAPT's 5 day thing the first time and sheppard air the second. I now only recommend Sheppard Air.

This site has test banks for $30. There are a little over 700 questions/answers/ and explanations for the FEx test. There are alot of functions for picking and choosing what you want to focus your studies. If you are doing your ATP as well, they have a bundle package for sell. I used this for my ATP written and am using it now to study for my FE. I also use their logbook and am pleased with it.

I second wonwee. This place is cheap and after going over the questions for 1.5 days took the test and made high 90's. They update the questions constantly so you'll never see a test question that you didn't study for. Great software and CHEAP! Can't beat $29.

I just took the FE written last month - Gleim doesn't make a book anymore for the FE, just the software. That being said, I got the software, studied for two days and made a 98.

I think the big bucks you pay at a place like ATP just motivates you to do better.

The Gleim software does a great job, and still includes the summary of information you need to know for the written.

Ok one more question, this http://www.dauntless-soft.com/PRODUC...htengineer.asp place has several options for the FE written. The FEX basic Turbojet is the best right? or does it even matter. Thanks again

Professional Resume

I know it's not really related to the original subject, but does anyone have any recomendations for a professional resume service. I figure it can't hurt to have someone with decent English skills help me out a little. Thanks for the input.

I used Gleim software, got a 98% and I'm dumb.

Do the FEX....

Good Luck

From what I have seen of the work done by the professional resume service advertised over on flightinfo I wouldn't waste the money. A resume isn't that hard to put together with the advent of computers and decent printers. Most companies use electronic apps and resumes now days as well. I would save the money and find somebody you know who works where you want to work and simply copy that format. It really shouldn't take an expert to put one together.

Just my humble opinion.

FEw

Call the guys at Sheppardair.com and they'll fill you in on why their program is better than Gleim. They remove the Q's you won't see on the test, roughly a third less to study. ATP does this as well for twice the price. I used Sheppard Air and got 100%.
