Really, and pay them to stay home on disability while they accrue additional years of service for retirement. Old pilots are inexpensive. If they have 25 years of service they earn the same hourly rate as the 40 year old with 15 years but no longer accrue. Every pilot that goes out on medical multiple training requirements. Each pilot that moves is probably non productive for 3 months for training. Multiply that by 20 for the one pilot losing his/her medical is very expensive.

Your statement is probably one of the most ignorant I have ever heard. The fact is it probably would be wise to have exercise equipment on long haul flights. Anything to encourage and enhance fitness is a plus.
