FDX 777 rest facilities

I'm assuming that some of FEDEX's 777 routes are 12+ hours. Curious as to what crew rest facilities are installed.

A set of bunk beds on the right as you walk aft from the flight deck. They are forward of the entry door on that side. Very room and pretty comfy (at least compared to what's on the MD-11).

There are also 4 business class style seats a little further aft.

Would it have killed the Co to design a 1 position gym (stationary bike, treadmill, simple wt machine) into these planes.?? I would think the long term health care cost reductions from a more fit and ageing crew force, would outweigh the initial expense. What else do you have to do on a 14hr flight.?? win-win imho.

If you are serious, then you are really spoiled. How about doing P90x or jogging in place etc. It is not a cruise ship.

I would bet that the company would love to have older folks medical out sooner rather than later. Surprised they don't hand out free cartons of cigarettes before each flight.

Good grief! Three posts into a thread that could have been finished with one or two replies and we're off to the races again. A gym.... really?

How about a new thread with a title like: "My vagina hurts and I need to vent". At least people would know what they were getting into before they opened the thread.

It's like watching monkeys throw poo at each other

I think most of the guys on the 777 would think that's a great idea...If you would have said a 1 position Jim.

I think about half of you guys are about half as funny as you think you are. Whatever.
