That's logical....Because nothing has ever broken on that aircraft.

Abrasive? You mean like a file you might find in the bottom drawer of a .......?

Not FDX, but what relevance is there to "outing" the crew involved. The plane was flown within structural limits, no investigation completed, why announce who the Cappy was?

Agreed on no need to state who the crew were but the NTSB did tell us to stop work on the aircraft until they'd inspected the aircraft and released it back to us.

You clearly were looking for some kind of reaction when you posted your comment - you can't really expect us to believe that this particular incident (when there are so many more appropriate ones) suddenly made you realize you're glad you fly the 777.

Abrasive? Yeah, I guess. I'm not shy about pointing out some strange logic. .. and I'm the one with thin skin?

He didn't. It's easy to find out a lot of things with just a little bit of info. I figured it out from the first and fourth postings here.

Boys and girls...just thank God it didn't end up on it's back...again! The airplane has stigma...that is undeniable. Sounds like the crew did an outstanding job...as usual!

It's an airplane just like any other........it has a set of capabilities beginning HERE.....................and a set of Limitations ending HERE. Operate within those and all is well. Component failure is always a risk we live with .Never forget that all A/C are machines. They wear out, fatigue and can sustain un-noticed damage. Attention,Vigilance and Competency from all is required..........+1 on the BZ to the crew in SEA.
