Default MEM Fedex Airport Shuttle

I know there is a bus that runs between the main terminal in Memphis to the Fedex facility. Do you guys know if that bus runs on demand or is it round the clock? I'm planning on using Fedex and my flight departs at 345am. I am coming from a local hotel so they will most likely drop me off at the airport. Just wondering how I can catch that shuttle bus. Thanks guys!

Some of the airport hotels will take you to the FedEx AOC

If the hotel won't take you to AOC, use the hotel phone board in baggage claim. I believe the fedex crewbus is ext 19.

I cant imagine a local hotel that will take you to the airport but not FDX AOC. If you have one find a different one. Missing your jumpseat because you are fooling around at the MEM airport waiting on a FDX bus after midnight would not be fun. With a 245 show you can leave the hotel at 2:00 and be there in plenty of time for your jumpseat if you avoid the terminal.

I don't believe that the FDX Bus will let someone on unless they have a FEDEX ID? At least that's what I've been told before.

Thanks guys! I'll try and convince the van driver to just take me to AOC. Hopefully they know how to get there.

Nope, they'll take any offline jumpseaters.

I agree, I think that any airline ID will get you on the bus and into the AOC jumpseat area
