I think if we turn this down the deal will be much worse. Not a scare tactic. It's just that the Co can have all flying done by one group.....everything, vacation, reserve, etc at NB pay and only a difference pay when you actually fly a 76 trip....which is what most other CO's do now.....
I have already voted....
I hope everyone votes...YES or NO...but Vote!

+1 & why I voted Yes

Under your scenario, with the Company's offer under the Single Bid pack.

What would the Senior Guy (who can hold a 767 Line in a single Bid pack) get paid when he conflicted Vacation with a 767 Trip?

What would he get paid if conflicted the 767 trip with his training foot print.......or called in Sick for the 767 Trip, What does the Senior reserve
Pilot get his RLG guarantee at? That is the Problem.

Single bidpack only works if we have a common pay rate!

Do you know that for a fact? :D

It depends on what you negotiate.

Why would the company give up X hard 767 line in 2 bid packs but not one? Does one bid pack cost them more? Why would they give up paying 767 vacation in 2 bid packs but not one? They are going to pay Y and Z number of 767 Secondary and Reserve lines anyways. Seems to me if the company wanted 1 bid pack they might be willing to pay a little something extra for the flexibility.

As someone asked earlier, I wonder how Delta does it.

Doesn't Delta have PBS.....perhaps we can do that too....:D

Wouldn't it be alot easier for guys to just get a single pay scale? Wouldn't that be less complicated?

Worst case he would get NB pay if they treat flying a 76 like a override, no WB pay unless you actually fly the 76.

As long as we are being hypothetical, I say he gets A380 because that is what we could have negotiated.
