I've owned Goodreader for years, one of the best apps around. Didn't cost me a thing to put on the new iPad.

Just tried all 20 FPRs in my Past Flights. Was able to grab every single route by highlighting the last point on the line of routing and then drag left. The only one that gave me an issue was a routing that took 2 lines, but I was able to grab it after a couple tries.

You must have magic fingers! I've tried grabbing the last fix/word in the routing and about one time out of ten tries I can drag and select the whole routing. But I don't know what I'm doing different each time. Are you doing your "grabbing" off the print page or the page prior to hitting print?

I can't get it to work in Safari consistently. I have had it work, and a stylus helped, but it is frustrating.

Like I mentioned earlier, I use Documents or Goodreader browser, hit print and then save. The other nice thing about saving a copy is that you then have it to review on that "short" ride from the hotel in KIX.

I just tried Photon and had the same results.

Puffin Free works without even using the print function. The select bars look different, but it does work. That should help the guys that don't have other iOS devices and understandably don't want to buy Apps to use with the company iPad.

Puffin also does Flash

Can you use your regular personal MAC account with the company iPad so you don't lose your apps when you buy them? Can you sync it to your home computer too? I get mine delivered on the 15th.

Thanks.

Yes, you plug it into the ox position of your computer. ;)

Whoops, fixed it... thanks! ;-)

I don't have a company iPad, yet, but you should be able to use your existing Apple ID and any apps you've already purchased. It's a matter of philosophy, rather than a technical issue.

Yes, when I got mine, the first thing I did was set it up and sync it like any other iOS device. Mine needed a software update. Once it was setup, then I followed the company guidance to install their software.

Just remember - An Apple ID goes two places: Settings>iCloud and Setting>iTunes and App Store and they can be different. Use your normal one you buy all your songs apps with for the latter. If you do not want personal info on the company iPad (like me), then get a different Apple ID for the iCloud one. No reason to buy any apps twice.
