We were talking about it tonight, and it looks like a lot of those positions evaportaed when the SDF Z lost two of the around the world trips to the MD-11, and the IRO dropped off of a lot of the other pairings. Used to be that all IRO's had to come from Louisville, and now they can have IRO's in other domiciles as well. Just one more giveback in the name of productivity, someone else's upgrade, and your job. Sorry dude.

I think if you ask them, they would be called "grateful"...not sure too many people would turn down this opportunity to get on the list, even if it does mean a few years in ANC before you can bid back to warmer climes.
