And yet more news to make the heart sink

Okay...I'll agree it's a great hotel. And you never want to leave the compound for sure. I'll throw a plug for some great hotel food in the downstairs lounge...the spicy shrimp is awesome. I know, I know, shrimp in India. It is the best and has never made me sick. Hardly.

We hired a car and spent the day touring New and Old Delhi. We each gave the driver 20.00 U.S. and he was very happy. And yes we did stop at his Uncle/brother/cousin's carpet emporium/trinket shop. It was a good time and we made it back for happy hour.

Our crew went up to the Taj Mahal via cab last time I was there. Great fun and very affordable. If anyone wants the details on how to do that trip just p.m. me.

That's part of he problem. A major problem is the corruption within their Government. Many foreign businesses are either reconsidering setting up shop an or are pulling out completely. Yes the labor market is aplenty. But the Indian managers from within established companies also collect their bribes from the workers, and the expat owners. That said, with hurdles which are overt, what's the advantages to foreign companies setting up shop in India?

The US have already blown through that intersection long ago. Job production from private and public owned businesses are unable to navigate successfully through the torrid waters of laws and regulations. We all known what happen to the Titanic!
