Default MSY-FedEx ramp to terminal?

Do any of you know how to get from the ramp to the terminal to pick up a rental car? Do they have airport bus service or anything?

Thanks in advance...

Not to my knowledge, however if you are renting a car from one of the on site locations I am sure they would pick you up if you asked.

It also depends on your arrival time. If showing up at the same time as the AFW 757 the van driver going downtown passes right by the rental car lot or can with no trouble at all. As are the local pilots driving home. In reality the walk really isn't that far.

I am pretty sure I'll be getting in on the afternoon flight from Memphis...around 5pm

The fedex ramp is right near the employee parking lot. You can catch a shuttle to the airport from there and then find your way to the rental cars

Be advised, several of the rental car agencies are within walking distance of the ramp. They are located just to the southwest of the purple pin in the attached picture. I know Hertz is one of them and I think Dollar and Thrifty are there too.

If you still want to go to the terminal:
Just walk out of the facility (green roof), towards the employee parking lot. About 50 yards south, past the canal, towards the purple pin on the attached picture, is the employee parking lot. Just go to one of the bus stops and pick up the shuttle to the terminal.

They moved all of the rental agencies to the new garage. They are no longer near our ramp.
