I've enjoyed the Kirkland/Costco 22" roller bag for the last six months; great bag, and the expandable feature is huge whenever going on a long trip. However, was shopping last night at Costco and saw that they are phasing them out for a 4 wheel "new & improved" spinner model I personally don't care for. So I bought one of the "classic" models left on the shelf (for future use); get 'em now while you can.

I agree with the B&R. Lifetime no hassel repairs and I get a loner bag from my local shop when they are replacing the wheels, handle what ever. Only had the wheels done so far as a reserve RJ guys with lots of commuting it holds up to the valet chuckers!!! plus i love the large water bottle holder on the back of the bag between the handles

I've had a good experience with Eagle Creek
...so far.
A fair amount of deadheads meant airlines handling my luggage, I needed to replace/fix my main bag every 12-18 months. Frankly it was completely random as to when a baggage handler or conveyor system destroyed my bag. If I carried my own bag (not holding deadheads) my bag would last years. I finally did some research and purchased an Eagle Creek Tarmac bag. They are expensive, but I liked the "No Matter What" guarantee, durability and light weight. I've had it two and a half years and haven't had to try to use the trademarked no matter what guarantee...yet. I am checking my bag more often lately and I think I've had a good experience because of the bag's durability, but I may just be having better luck with baggage handlers. You can find Eagle Creek bags online Eagle Creek Official Site but I would buy them at a store. I got mine at REI for cheaper than listed on the Eagle Creek or REI websites. Supposedly I can take the bag back to REI if I ever need to use the no matter what guarantee. If this is truly the last bag I buy it will have been money well spent.
